| Safety and Health are the key factors influencing every aspect of our Manufacturing operations including Purchase, Storage, and Production & Planning. |
| At Indofil all our equipments and processes are subjected to stringent safety standards in line with international norms, which have resulted in an excellent track record of safe working and several awards. The entire Manufacturing process is PLC based wherein various interlocks have been incorporated to take care of safety aspects like fail-safe storage facility for carbon disulphide; completely automated form, fill and seal for packaging; suspension concentrate facility for Mancozeb and Sulphur; bulk storage and transfer facility for Acrylic Monomers. There is no manual handling to avoid human exposure to hazardous chemicals. Besides, there is a constant interaction and co-operation with neighboring industries on matters of safety. |

| At Indofil we don't just have an environmental policy on paper... we implement it. Our Thane Manufacturing site is certified as ISO 14001. Our personnel from safety and Manufacturing constantly visit our neighborhood and get valueable inputs from such interaction, which is used, for modifying our environmental initiatives. |
| To minimize effluents at source, our process development and R&D group is engaged in on-going programmes to modify, even substitute, materials and processes with environmentally safer alternatives. |
| Treating Waste |
| While producing high quality products, we are conscious of our responsibilities towards environment as part of our proactive efforts to minimize pollution. Indofil has an advanced environment protective infrastructure with production sites having three stage effluent treatment systems. These constitute incinerators for hazardous solid waste. For secondary treatment, there are submerged EOL02 Aerators and energy-efficient Biomixers & Bioreactors. Activated Carbon filters include tertiary treatment by removing refractory chemicals, automated waste treatment plant with Bio-catalyst which works round the clock. |
